We spent Monday in Manchester. I think this had to be one of my favorite days you'll find out why in the picture below.
So since Monday was the first day that Danni and I were out on our own and trying to figure out the train system...we were a little confused. On the train we were discussing when we should get off. A cut English lady behind us asked if we were lost. She then told us which stop to get off at. She got off there as well. After we got off we again had no idea where to go, so we asked her again. She had us get on another train to get to the shopping area. So we talked with her while on the train and when we got off we just kept talking and walking with her. She asked us if we would have coffee with her. We said we would love to join her and have hot chocolate. So she took us to a little diner inside a shopping center. (she had a frequent buyer card and treated us to hot chocolate.) I had said that we should be the ones buying since she was helping us. She then said, "You think I did you the favor, but really your doing me one. This had made my month." Her name was Esma and of course I got our picture taken with her.

We ate lunch at the Pizza Factory, it was delicious!
This was my favorite cathedral. It was so beautiful inside and out. It was enormous! I also loved that it was free admission (donation only) and I could take pictures - bonus!
