Meet the newest member of our family!

Here is our new kitten Sally!! AJ decided that he wanted a pet some months ago. We decided it was a good idea to get a kitten and he agreed to pay for it. So last weekend, on April 24th we adopted our first pet! Ethan came up with the name Sally. In his Kindergarten class there is a lady they call "Grandma Sally". She comes in every so often and reads to the kids. So Ethan named the kitty after her.
Here is Ethan getting aquainted with Sally at the animal shelter. There were four kittens to choose from. Sally had a sibling that looked just like her. The kids decided on which kitten we would take home.
This is often where I will find Sally. She likes to curl up somewhere on Ethan's bed. I will find her under the bed asleep and sometimes underneath the blankets.

Jocleyn was so happy the day we brought Sally home. She love her so much!! Sally is actually pretty good with her. Jocelyn will wrap her up and carry her around and put her in baskets. She lets her know when she has had enough but I think they are forming a quick bond.

Jocelyn knows that when Sally is in the litter box she is not allowed to hold her. So here is Jocelyn waiting patiently for Sally to come out.

Jocelyn was laying down for a nap and she was thrilled when the cat decided to curl up by her and take her own nap. Sally is so funny. When we come home she immediately comes to us meowing and wants lots of attention. She is usually in the middle of the action and loves being near the kids. She is very playful and we have had so much fun playing with her.
