We had a great Fourth of July this year! Jon had to work this weekend so the kids and I headed to Utah. Since I was a kid my family has attended Granite High fireworks on the 3rd of July. This year my sister Jessica was working at the show. She was selling tickets for the games and blowup rides. So she gave us a handful of tickets and the kids had fun playing games. They loved eating the snowcones. We even had fun just hanging out waiting for the fireworks to start. Grandma brought an entire container of glow sticks. The kids made bracelets and necklaces. Jocelyn kept saying "more" so Grandpa kept putting glow bracelets on her wrist. The fireworks show was amazing and the kids really enjoyed it. This was the first time Jocleyn got to see fireworks. She enjoyed just quietly watching. On the actual Fourth we had our own fireworks in the front yard. We then had the kids play with sparklers. It was a fun weekend!
