Jon needed to be in Salt Lake for training last Thursday and Friday so we went along. We stayed at the Little America Hotel. While Jon was at training we had fun down town. The kids thought this was the best vacation and loved staying at the fancy hotel.
The Children's area at the Church History Museum was amazing!! It was similar to what you may find at the Children's Museum...only it's free. Jocelyn had fun looking for eggs under these chickens.
The fountains at the Gateway were a blast! Evette met us here and we ate snow cones and looked around with her.
.
We ate dinner at Red Lobster and the kids loved it! Here is us making a toast to dad working so we could have our mini vacation.

Grandma had made this silky night gown for Jocelyn. She loved it and she looked so pretty. Of course she still slept naked but she did wear it for a while.
Jon needed to be at training on Friday until noon so we spent the morning at the zoo with grandma! The kids saw stuffed animals and grandma bought Ethan a T-Rex, AJ an elephant, and Jocelyn a monkey.
Ethan's T-Rex was so much fun. He would put it up to the window and the Monkeys would come over. One monkey kept hitting the window trying to get to it....it was hilarious!
This Gorilla was crazy!! It was eating an entire cardboard box. It would rip off a piece and eat it! It then went over to the corner and pooped...no big deal right? Well it reached around and caught it's poop...and then ate it! Yes you read that right, it ate all off it's poop!
