Fun with Tayler

One of the things Tayler really wanted to do with us was go camping. So we planned a camping trip. We went with the Jensen's and Arnell's. We camped about 20 minutes from Vernal but I can't remember the name of the camping spot. We got there Thursday night and left Sunday. We had so much fun with our friends minus the emergency room visit.

4 wheeling!

This is the only picture I could get of Jade's injury. On Saturday the guys were gone on a long 4 wheeling drive. The kids were driving around on nearby trails. Jade and Lauren came running back to camp. They had been 4 wheeling. Jade took a path that had a big branch of a tree covering the path. She is not very experienced in driving a 4 wheeler so she thought she was braking when she actually was hitting the gas. They ran right through the branch and it cut up her calf really bad. The tree was wedged into the 4 wheeler so they had to run back to camp. Nanette and Heidi took her to the emergency room in Vernal. I was left with the upset children. Lauren was really upset since she was with Jade when it happened. All but the two oldest children were all crying and upset. It was a good opportunity for us to talk about what we should do when we are scared and how the holy ghost can comfort us. So we said prayers and the comforted each other. Soon the guys came back and we waited to hear word. Jade ended up getting stitches and will most likely have a pretty good scar.

Ashely and Kaisa had tied their arms together so Jocelyn and Tavia decided they needed to do the same thing. So cute.

Tayler came with us to Jon's company picnic. One of our favorite things there are the free snow cones!

We spent an afternoon at Blair Town with friends. Here is Tayler on the zipline.

My mom sent the kids a package while Tayler was here. They each got their own bird house to paint. Jocelyn and Tayler also got stuffed birds. Jocelyn because she caught a bird and Tayler because one of her nick names is "Tayler Bird".

We brought Makayla along with us to Splash park. These two had a blast hanging out and doing cartwheels, head stands....
