So Jocelyn is often found chasing birds, trying to catch one. The other day she came inside with a baby bird in her hands. She was so excited. Jon was the first one to see her and instead of sharing her excitement he exclaimed....Oh No! Jocelyn you can't touch that bird, if you do the mom will smell Jocelyn and not the bird and won't feed it. I came up on this and said....Wait! I need to get the camera...I then told Jocelyn that she didn't do anything wrong and that it was exciting to catch a bird...but maybe next time not to actually pick it up. I snapped the picture after her heart was broken so that is why she has a somber expression. We returned it to the yard and watched it for a little while.

So bitter sweet. I love this little girl, she is so after my own heart. Jocelyn, that is so cool you actually got to catch it. I have never caught a live wild bird before.
