We spent all day on Saturday touring London.

All that I could think about while at the London Towers was how much AJ and Ethan would enjoy this! They love knights and swords and armor. We bought them each little knight figures. We also bought a catapult pencil sharpener. For Jocelyn we bought her a figure of the London buses. She loves cars so much that it was perfect for her.
Shakespear's Globe. We didn't actually pay to take the tour inside (limited time and funds) but it was neat to see it from the outside. There was actually a wedding party outside at the time we were there.
We went to the British museum but wasn't able to see all of it because it closed at 5:00 PM. Really neat Egyptian artifacts, my Dad would have loved it.
After dinner we headed back to the restaurant that Jon and I had eaten dinner at the night before. They had a big display case of amazing desserts. So all four of us went back to just get dessert. I got a lemon cheesecake and it was delicious.
I can't remember the name of this arch but we walked to it and it was neat.

What a fun getaway. I bet it was nice to have a break from being parents and just enjoy each others company.
