Grandma Nelson's Funeral

Jocleyn fell in love with these two kittens. Hannah is Jon's cousin and she is three years old. Both girls had a lot of fun together playing with those kitties.

Last weekend we drove to Grand Junction, Colorado to attend the funeral services of Jon's grandma Jean Nelson. Lots of family traveled from all over to be there. We all conviended at Nathan and Renee's house (Jon's uncle and aunt). Thursday evening was the viewing. It was good to see Grandma Nelson one more time before the cascet was closed. I think Friday morning was the most emotional time for me. The family was able to say their last goodbyes and put her veil over her face and close the cascet. I felt a special spirit there and it really touched my heart to see my mother-in-law and her siblings saying their goodbyes to their mother. Jean Nelson was a great woman and accomplished much in her life. We were so glad we were able to there for her funeral. All of Jon's siblings were able to be there so that was special.
