So last night I decided to run the Flaming Gorge Days 5K. It was really fun and I am really glad I did it. My family was at the finish line to support me.

AJ was the clown's assistant.This weeked was the Flaming Gorge Days for Green River. We enjoyed a parade, blow-up toys, watching a clown do a magic show, and being with friends. The clown picked AJ to be his assistant. He would make a balloon animal and then AJ would give it to a kid. AJ gave his first balloon animal to Jocelyn. The second one was a pink poodle which he offered to Ethan. Ethan rejected it so AJ gave it to the girl next to him. He then gave Ethan a blue fish. Pretty soon kids were yelling out AJ's name and crowding him to get a balloon animal. One grandma even bribed him with popcorn if he would give her two grandkids one. So after they got one he got a handful of kettle corn. He had fun and it was great to be the center of attention for a little while.

christy you look hot and TINY in your race pictures!!!!!!!!!!! i am soooooo proud of you lover for doing the run!!! don't make plans the weekend of May 2, 2010 cause you me and mom are running the half marathon in ft. collins!!!!!!!!!! start training. loves i am excited to play with you over the fourth!!! scott will be out of town so we can play all weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! here we come mall
Way to go Christy!!!!! a 5K now and next you will be doing a half marathon!!!!!!!! There is one on May 2nd in Colorado where Kellie is moving to and we want to do it if possible. Possible means those who aren't pregnant! I won't be! Love the pics, so fun!!!!!

It looks like a ton of fun. We are sad we missed it, but as you'll see (if you check out my blog) we had our own fun here (quite similar actually). I'm impressed you're running... not my thing! :)
That is great about AJ being the assistant I bet he loved it. I agree with Jess you look super cute in your running pics. What a great weekend. i forgive you for not answering any of my calls with having that much fun!
