Lake Powell

We had a really fun vacation last week in Lake Powell. Jon's sister Lisa and her husband invited us to go to Lake Powell with them and Lee's family. We had so much fun!! I had only been there once when I was a teenager and Jon had never been there so we were really excited. It is so beautiful there. Unlike anywhere else.

Jon really took well to wake boarding. We was up really fast and in no time was jumping the wake. This was only the second time we had gone wake boarding. The first time was two years ago. Christine also tried wake boarding and got up after a couple tries but had a difficult time staying up. She has fun with the knee board.

Here is Ethan with his cousin Reggie. We brought these blow up toys and they had fun playing around with them.

Here is A.J. on a tube with Matt Mercer. A.J. was very brave on our trip. He is usually nervous to try new things. He surprised by being the little "fish" of the group. He was constantly jumping in the water with his life jacket and swimming. He even tried tubing which was very surprising. Even though Uncle Lee went very slow A.J. said it was too fast and did not want to try it again. A.J. and Ethan really enjoyed playing with the Mercer cousins. They were so nice and really made us feel welcome.
